Is there any obligation to enroll?
No. Counseling is confidential and focused on clarity. If a program is recommended, we’ll explain it and you’ll have time to decide.
Is nonprofit debt help a loan or a new line of credit?
No. Nonprofit counseling does not require taking on new debt. If a Debt Management Plan is a fit and you choose to enroll, it is not a loan. It’s a structured repayment plan administered through participating creditors where available.
