Idaho Is Booming: Specifically the Treasure Valley

Idaho may be widely known for it’s 🐮’s and 🥔’s but the fact is the state is growing rapidly. A growing concern in Idaho is the recent take-off in home buying and rental costs. Research on the real estate website Zillow shows a 17.4% rise in home values over the last year (Feb. 2018 to March 2019.)

The Idaho Statesman published an interesting article towards the end of 2018 that detailed how the rise in home values has pushed many potential buyers out of the market. Rental prices have been rising drastically as well and unfortunately, those that have limited income or financial woes are finding it increasingly more difficult to adjust.

We’ve seen projections stating the Treasure Valley population will likely cross the 1 million mark within 20 years, if not considerably quicker. These changes highlight the need to improve our communities overall financial health which we remain 100% committed to assisting with.

Getting Help With Debt In IDAHO

Money Fit recommends that residents take a cautious approach when seeking debt relief services. Unfortunately, there are several for-profit businesses that have poor track records. If you find a deal that appears too good to be true, it’s likely that it is.

We know that dealing with debt can be tiring and frustrating. We’ve heard from several individuals that they wish they’d first researched a business that they signed up with, however, they were quick to shed the burden of debt and in some cases, their situation ended up worse.

We recommend that you take time with your research and reflect on the short-term and long-term implications such as the total costs to you as well as what, if any, damages may be made to important items such as your personal credit history and score. There is much on the line, being up-front and asking questions and doing research will greatly improve the chances that you’ll find a resolution to your debt that satisfies your needs.
